Eligibility Criteria

• Education:
  • Graduate in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or any relevant degree (e.g., B.Com, BBA, M.Com, MBA in Finance) as per official notification.
• Experience:
  • 2+ years of experience in OTC, Cash Applications, Accounts Receivable, or similar finance back-office processes.​
• Skills:
  • Good understanding of Order to Cash cycle, cash application, bank reconciliation, and AR processes.​
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP tools (SAP/Oracle/other AR tools preferred).​
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to handle large transaction volumes.​
  • Good communication skills in English for client interaction and internal coordination.​

Roles & Responsibilities

• Process daily cash applications for client accounts by posting payments received via checks, wires, ACH, and other payment modes to customer accounts.​
• Review remittance information, bank statements, and supporting documents to correctly apply, partially apply, or keep unapplied cash where needed.​
• Perform reconciliations between customer accounts and general ledger, resolving short payments, overpayments, and unidentified transactions.​
• Coordinate with collections, billing, and customer service teams to resolve disputes or mismatches in payments.​
• Maintain SLAs, accuracy targets, and productivity metrics defined by Genpact and client stakeholders.​
• Prepare periodical reports and trackers on unapplied cash, on-account payments, and aged items.​
• Follow standard operating procedures, internal controls, and audit requirements across OTC and cash application processes
